Waterside Holiday Group

Literature production

Now part of the Waterside Holiday Group this holiday park needed a dramatic make-over, as its previous owners had not invested in the park for many years and holiday visits were declining.

A range of holiday brochures was produced, including entertainment guides for the 2011 season.

Mascot Character Development

Looking deep into the history of the area we discovered the legend of a sea monster, dating back to the 1500s. We ‘borrowed’ this legend, created ‘Vic’ and used him as our park ‘champion’ on branding, adverts, brochures, merchandise, posters etc.

Consistent Brand Identity

A unifying brand evolution exercise was conducted across all 3 parks. All customer facing collateral, uniforms, signage etc. was updated for the 2011 season.

Social Media Marketing

An escalating campaign has been produced to promote the Chesil Vista Holiday Park. This incoroporates media relations activity, proactive press release writing and distribution, and forward feature tracking and targeting. We also manage the Press Office for the Park and several social media pages, as well as proactively targeting bloggers and relevant online influencers.

Photography & Art Direction

Marketing Matters were tasked with refreshing the photography for Chesil Vista Holiday Park to bring it inline with the the new 2011 identity. We commissioned one of our photographers, sourced a family of models for a natural family look and set about organising the 2 day shoot. We were careful not to disturb normal proceedings at the park only shooting out of hours. The end result is a comprehensive set of dynamic images showing the park off to full effect.
